CONSIGNMENT AGREEMENT

  1. Charlie & Grace determines the acceptability of each item and its corresponding selling price. Consignor receives 30% of thefinal sale price minus taxes and handling fees.
  2. Clothing must be freshly laundered, pressed, neatly folded, and less than 3 years old. Items will not be accepted if they are faded, has broken zippers, missing buttons or has tears, odors, pet hair, etc. Charlie & Grace has the right to refuse any item dropped off.
  3. Consigned items can be consigned between up to 90 days. Reductions in price are at the discretion of Charlie & Grace. Accepted items may be taken out of consignment for any reason prior to the consignment period.
  4. Items not accepted from drop offs will be donated or sent to textile recycling. We will make every effort to process your items in a timely manner, but please note that during busy times, processing times may take longer.
  5. If consignor would like items back that do not sell:
    1) Email us a MINIMUM of 1 week BEFORE the expiration date.
    2) Once the items are pulled you will receive an email. You will have 7 calendar days to pick up from:
    Warm Wick - 3732 Prairie Ave, Brookfield, IL 60513. If items are NOT picked up within 7 calendar days from the date of email, items will be forfeited to the shop and your consignor account will be charged $10.00 for a pulling fee. If
    there is not enough credit in the consignor account, consignor will not be able to consign again until fee is paid. Forfeited items will be donated or sold at the discretion of Charlie & Grace.
  6. We strive to keep your items safe while on the sales floor. Items, however, are left at the consignor’s own risk. You, the consignor, guarantee to hold Charlie & Grace, its affiliates, agents and employees harmless of any loss due to theft or damages.
  7. Consignor is responsible for notifying Charlie & Grace if contact information changes, including email, phone number, and address. It is encouraged that Charlie & Grace’s email is added to your contact list to prevent notification emails from going into Spam or Junk folders.
  8. Consignor is responsible for picking up payment or using credit within 1 year of earning. Consignor account will be charged a monthly service fee of $5.00 if credit is not used or picked up within a year of earning.
  9. Consignor will have access to the consignor portal to check inventory, items sold, expiration dates, and account credit. Consignor will be responsible for maintaining their account and keeping track of expiration date of their items.
  10. Our store reserves the right to charge nominal process and handling fees which are not shared with the consignor.
